Shown on this slide are more details of the MSP430FR263x/265x. There are four devices in the family with different FRAM, RAM, and IO configurations. The largest device has 16k of FRAM and 4k of RAM with the entire touch library in the 16k ROM. Unlike the competition, having code in ROM implies that there is more room available for application code. The CapTIvate peripheral is an autonomous peripheral with its own dedicated oscillator, timer and wake on touch state machine. In addition the device has a 10-bit ADC, four timers, two UARTs and one I²C.
