There are several different categories of LED drivers available on the market. Switch mode non-isolated is for applications where the user cannot come in contact with the secondary LED side of the load. Double insulation is used to meet regulatory requirements. Switch Mode Isolated is for applications such as LED driver power supplies with complete safety isolation, linear drivers, more commonly known as active current sources, and dimmable and non-dimmable products. Evaluation boards and reference designs are available upon request and prepared to meet the application requirements.
