In summary, sensors are everywhere within the modern world as people need to constantly measure everything: weight, UV, temperature, speed, current, and so much more. In spite of the fact that mankind lives in an increasingly digital world, many sensors are still purely analog. Generally, most of them provide an extremely small signal. The question is how to deal with this low signal in order to transfer it to the digital domain, without adding any error that could compromise the information. The solution is to use an opamp to amplify the signal. However, this opamp would need to be ideal in order to not introduce any offset. Unfortunately, this kind of device does not exist; opamps will always impact measurements. By choosing the right opamp, it is possible to limit the error on the output.
