Reed Sensors vs Hall and Electromechanical Slide 28

Hall sensors are the clear technology selection in a very high shock environment. Reed sensors have some vulnerability to shock in applications involving 200 Gs or more. The Micro-reed sensors, using MEM, micro-machining technology, have no shock susceptibility. Electromechanical sensors have very little susceptibility to shock up to 400 Gs.
