Reed Sensors vs Hall and Electromechanical Slide 20

Reed sensors and electromechanical sensors require no other circuitry; they can switch their loads directly. Hall sensors only put out a small voltage signal that can not switch any load directly. They need electronic amplifiers that power electronic switches to switch a given load.
