UTL is resistant to UV exposure and fully tested to the equivalent of 5 years exposure to sunlight. No degradation to color or mechanical properties were observed. The UTL series is manufactured with a special UV resistant thermoplastic material that is rated F1 per UL 746C. The connector series is able to withstand extreme temperatures of -40⁰C to +105⁰C and remains fully operational. Cable assemblies perform at an operational temperature of -40⁰C to +90⁰C using SJOOW cable. Actual installations include solar farms in hot and dry climates that are exposed to constant sunlight and extreme temperatures.
