The connector series can be engaged or disengaged during normal use when live or under power load. Designed with a first-mate, last-break contact, the mating is initiated on the designated ground line. In addition to this very important design feature, the UTL connector is also compliant with the latest environmental regulations such as RoHS and its Chinese equivalent. The series is also rated to the UL94-5VA flammability specification, which is a higher test with more stringent requirements than the UL94-V0 rating that other connector manufacturers typically offer.
