In some situations MLCCs may exhibit a piezoelectric (acoustic noise) effect resulting in an audible hum or vibration. This topic is beyond the scope of this PTM but is mentioned because it may occur when using high cap MLCCs. Samsung has a solution family to resolve acoustic noise.
