The BD9x series consists of ten different switching regulators. This allows users to pick and choose a regulator that is the best fit for the application and get the most out of the part in terms of efficiency, power losses, and board space. This series supports input voltages anywhere from 2.7V to 76V. Due to the high voltage input tolerance, these regulators best fit in industrial design where nominal input voltage is anywhere from 16V to 60V. Output current for these parts can go up to 3A, starting from 1A. All the parts in this series have high side and low side MOSFETs built inside the package, which reduces the external BOM cost and surface area on the printed circuit board. Many additional safety features are also included in these parts.
