A RIIoT™ enabled gateway includes the GPR module and the RIIoT net controller, as seen on this slide. The GPR module typically resides in the RIIoT gateway dongle, but could alternatively be integrated in a gateway. The GPR module is the interface to the RIIoT RF network. The RIIoT net controller is a pre-compiled Linux middleware from Radiocrafts that transfers packets from the RIIoT RF to and from JSON objects in the gateway. The net controller resides in the gateway and is also the interface to the GPR module for configuration settings. The process to create a RIIoT enabled gateway is straightforward and was described as one of the benefits earlier in this presentation.
