gpr core

The GPR module is the RF interface in a RIIoT™ gateway. The GPR module communicates to the leaf nodes with the SPR module and to the gateway itself to interface to the external network. The GPR module does not have ICI integrated; it is either controlled by the RIIoT network controller if integrated in a Linux gateway, or via UART commands if the RIIoT network controller is not included in the system. This module can be divided into two main parts. First are the hardware interfaces shown in yellow. To the left is the antenna connector with a simple 50 ohm pin that connects to most standard antennas. To the right are the local PCB bus interfaces that are well known to most electronic hardware engineers: SPI, I2C, GPIO, UART, and Analog. Second, the parts that are controlled by the RIIoT network controller or UART commands are the local data management, formatting and processing, and the configuration of the module.
