Spring-cage terminal blocks were developed for universal spring-loaded conductor contacts. The contact force is independent of the user, so that creates a vibration-proof, gas tight connection with long-term stability. The terminal point is opened with a standard screwdriver. After the wire conductor is inserted into the clamping cavity, the screwdriver is removed and the conductor automatically makes contact. This easy operation is performed as a result of front connection, where the conductor and screwdriver enter in parallel from the same direction. A variety of copper wires can be clamped without pretreatment. Use of ferrules prevents unwanted splicing. The spring element of the spring-cage is made from high-strength chromium-nickel spring steel.
