First, for each Varactor diode on the wafer four to five samples are taken for Capacitance at different voltages. Then, for each (x,y) coordinates are recorded and parameters such as Vbr (breakdown voltage) and IR (reverse diode current) are checked. Finally, all diodes are matched by a PC to be used in an assembly sequence file. The diagram below illustrates the steps in which it shows the DMA sequencing, Diode assembly and testing, and finally taping the DMA matched Varactor diodes.
