The upper part of the slide here shows the performance and the low power characteristics, which allow the i.MX 8M to be a very competitive processor for general purpose applications, like human machine interface (HMI) solutions, both on the consumer and industrial space. The bottom half of the slide highlights the video and audio performances and the different interfaces of the i.MX 8M. These allow it to be an extremely competitive solution for media related applications, highlighting the 4K HDR, and the professional grade audio, supported with many channels. Also present are several high speed interfaces for both camera and display, as well as connectivity. These interfaces are relevant for high data throughput in the system.
