This slide shows a typical NEMA 6 enclosure with two of the standard “oil-tight” cut-outs that can accommodate Murata’s DMR20 meters. A drawing with the recommended cut-out dimensions is also inset in the upper right. To maintain the IP67 rating of the enclosure, the meters must be properly installed using the provided gasket and nut, and then tightening the nut to a torque of 10-17 inch-pounds (or 1.3-1.9 Newton-meters), as specified in the product datasheets. Proper installation is key to achieving a compliant seal to maintain the ingress protection rating of the fully assembled enclosure.
