Analog Devices' transformer drivers provide a simple solution for generating isolated power supplies as the windings on the transformer are used to define the secondary isolated output voltages. The MAX13256 integrates overcurrent/thermal shutdown protection and helps to detect if there has been a fault condition. MAX13256 is available in tiny 3 x 3 package for space constrained applications. An evaluation kit with a 5 kV transformer is available.
