MAX2870-Slide43

To quickly evaluate the MAX2870 follow these simple steps: Connect the INTF-3000 interface board to a PC via USB cable. Connect the INTF-3000 to the EVKIT with the ribbon cable provided. Connect a 3.3V DC power supply source to the EVKIT. The EVKIT output is observed with a spectrum analyzer at RFOUTAP. Load the EVKIT software onto a PC. Use the GUI to setup all PLL parameters and modes of operation. The MAX2870 EVKIT includes an on-board 50MHz crystal oscillator reference input, so an external frequency reference source is not needed. The EVKIT also includes an on-board loop filter.
