Digital power monitors are integrated solutions that provide high-side, low-side, and bidirectional current monitoring, as well as voltage monitoring, and use an on board ADC to provide digital feedback. The ISL28022 is the basic DPM, with a switch/mux to select the input to the 16-bit ADC and digital comparators to detect fault conditions and trigger an interrupt. The ISL28023 builds on the ISL28022 with a more accurate ADC, analog comparators for real-time alerts, and PMBus compatibility as well as other key features. The ISL28025 takes a subset of the ISL28023 features and places them in a tiny WLCSP package.
