Ideal-tek Engineering and High Performance plastics are ideally suited for demanding environments such as laboratories, biological applications and clean rooms. Ideal-tek’s plastic products are specifically designed for use with delicate and sensitive components or devices. The CP series (Carbon PEEK) is an ESD safe (106 Ohm) high-performance plastic that is very hard and rigid with high tensile and flexural strength providing very high wear resistance, high heat capability (260 - 300°C), good dimension stability, low thermal linear expansion coefficient, excellent resistance to chemicals and aggressive agents and excellent resistance to thermal aging. Best for high temperature applications, soldering, handling of components in cleaning/ chemical processes and Soldering / desoldering aid. The CF series (Carbon fiber) is an ESD safe (102 Ohm) Engineering plastic reinforced with carbon fiber providing very high rigidity, excellent tensile and flexural strength, fatigue and creep resistance, low friction, self lubricating properties, excellent wear, abrasion resistance, good heat capability, good chemical resistance to oils, grease and fuels and non polar solvents. The CF series is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water or steam. Best for handling sensitive electronic components, micro-mechanical parts, glass and ceramic substrates, and capillary. The SV series (PVDF) is a ESD safe (105 Ohm) high performance plastic that is carbon fiber reinforced for excellent mechanical strength and toughness. The heat stabilized smooth surface tips have high heat capability (continuous use temperature up to 150°C). The low extraction value provides high purity tweezer tips ideal for controlled environments.  The SV series has excellent chemical resistance to most aggressive substances (mineral and organic acid) and solvents (hydrocarbons, alcohols, halogenated), is resistant to halogens, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid and has high resistance to abrasion, UV and nuclear radiation (sterilization). Best for handling scratch-sensitive components, clean room/contamination-sensitive components, cleaning and etching processes.
