The Coated tweezers include the NE series that are ESD safe (10⁵ - 10⁶ Ohm) epoxy coating. This conductive polyester epoxy coating has excellent impact resistance, good elasticity, inhibits oxidation and is easy to clean and maintain resulting in extended tool life and higher operator comfort. The DR series is an ESD safe (10⁵ - 10⁶ Ohm) rubber grip while DN is an Engineering ESD (10⁹ - 10¹⁰ Ohm) foam grip made from PVC foam. Both materials are very soft and elastic, have good tear resistance, outstanding abrasion/wear resistance (improved life-time), good chemical resistance from oils, grease, fuels, acid, detergents and soaps. The DR handles are recommended for use in clean rooms and controlled environments, and both the DR and DN are ideal for repetitive handling tasks in specimen preparation, electronics, instrumentation, laboratories and forensics. These are especially useful for handling ESD sensitive components or small static sensitive items.
