Do not make the mistake of underestimating the small package size of the NGC. This switch was designed to perform in rugged, harsh applications with NEMA 1 ,4, 12 and 13 rating. The housing is epoxy sealed with an integral cable or connector. There are several cable options including a PUR cable, halogen free cable and railway approved cable. Additional features include the high shock and vibration spec and a wide temperature range. Honeywell’s standard temperature rating is -25°C to +75°C but they do offer a -40°C low temperature option for outdoor applications. Like most of the limit switch families, it was designed on a configuration platform that provides many options for actuator styles, housing material, connections and circuitry. Honeywell has global agency approvals allowing for worldwide design and manufacturing.
