Ha-VIS eCon 3000 Ethernet switches are enclosed in a slim profile housings in order to provide optimized installation in high density enclosures. Each eCon 3000 Ethernet switch has a height of 156.2 mm and a depth of 107.5 mm. Ha-VIS eCon 3000 switches with 8 ports or less have 25 mm width and switches with 10 or more ports have 38 mm width. All of the eCon 3000 enclosures are made from Aluminum in order to provide an optimized protection with relatively low weight. All of the Ethernet ports are located in front of the switch in order to provide the most optimized cable routing inside the control enclosures. HARTING Ha-VIS eCon 3000 switches have very well optimized DIN-rail mounting mechanism with the mounting adaptor integrated into the housing profile. Additional plastic clip with a spring is used to provide very secure hold when the switch is mounted on a DIN-rail. In addition to the Din-rail mounting, eCon 3000 Ethernet switches can also be attached directly to a panel with a use of additional mounting kits. HARTING Ha-VIS MK 3000 mounting kits also provide additional shock and vibration protection for the switch and the Ethernet cabling.
