Ha-VIS eCon 2000 Ethernet switches are enclosed in a very compact, low profile housings in order to provide optimized switch installation in shallow control cabinets. Each eCon 2000 Ethernet switch has a height of 113.5 mm and a depth of 27 mm. The width varies from 46.5 mm to 120 mm depending on the switch port count. All Power over Ethernet variants, in the eCon 2000 family, have a width of 120 mm. All of the eCon 2000 enclosures are made from Aluminum in order to provide an optimized protection with relatively low weight. One of the key features of the eCon 2000 line is the positioning of the Fiber Optic ports which are located on the front of the switch instead of being located on the bottom. This particular feature allows for better Fiber Optic cable routing inside enclosures and allows eCon 2000 switches to be mounted directly below or above other equipment inside the control cabinets. HARTING Ha-VIS eCon 2000 switches have a highly optimized DIN-rail mounting adapter which is integrated directly into the enclosure. This particular feature allows for an easy and secure switch installation on a DIN-rail.
