Now the user is ready to write the program they just created into the Millenium 3. First, they have to connect the programming cable to the controller and to the PC. After that they have to power up the controller and configure the communication. For that they need to know what is the COM port number assigned to the USB programming cable. This is easy to do: on the Windows Task bar, on the bottom right side of the screen, go to the Safely Remove Hardware icon and left-click once. It would show a list of USB devices. Look for Crouzet USB to COM Driver and take note of the COM port assigned to it. Next, on the Millenium 3 Software go to Controller, then to Connection Configure. Select the entry under Com Port and type in the com port (for example, COM4). Then click on Test.
