This slide shown here gives a quick cross reference for comparing XP-E2 to XP-E in standard white. This allows one to easily compare the performance of the two products at two different binning temperatures. Using the example at the bottom of the page, an XP-E2 from the R2 Flux bin which delivers a minimum of 114 lm at 350 mA and 85°C has similar light output to the XP-G R4 flux bin which delivers 130 lm at 350 mA and 25°C. It is important to utilize this cross reference when making initial comparisons as flux at different binning temperatures are very different. Please note that this is just a guide. For a more accurate comparison between Cree products, Cree recommends using the Product Characterization Tool (PCT) available at Cree.com.
