A great example shown here of an application that is enabled by the new levels of efficacy and small optical source delivered by the XM-L2. The XM-L2 can enable a MR16 replacement lamp that delivers 369 lm, 7800 Candela (cd) with a 9º Beam Angle using only 5 W of power. This is compared with existing solutions from competitors that require multi-die LEDs, producing wider beam angles and significantly less Center Beam Candle Power while using more power. The small optical source size of the XM-L2 enables a much tighter beam than is available from other multi-die solutions.
