Shown here is the performance characteristics of the XM-L2. The maximum drive current is 3000 mA, and the thermal resistance is 2.5ºC/W. The viewing angle is 125º and the typical forward voltage at 350 mA and 85ºC is 2.85 V. One important thing to note is that the dimensions of the XM-L2 are the same as the original XM-L, 5 mm x 5 mm with identical dome size. Like the other LEDs in the XLamp family, the XM-L2 is available in ANSI compatible chromaticity bins, has an electrically neutral thermal path, and a symmetric design. In addition, XM-L2 is also reflow solderable and RoHS & REACH compliant and available in Cool, Outdoor, Neutral and Warm White.
