Shown here is a great example of how the value of high efficacy LEDs translates into lower system costs. A system with 95 LPW efficacy would require 135 original XP-Gs while the same system utilizing the XM-L2 would only require 23 LEDs. Similarly, a system with 85 LPW efficacy would require 70 original XP-Gs while the same system utilizing XM-L2 would only require 17 LEDs. These dramatic decreases in LEDs used translates into lower LED spend, along with lower optic and driver costs, resulting in lower system costs. The XM-L2 enables 100 plus LPW systems previously not feasible because it would require too many LEDs.
