APEM manufactures a variety of switch joysticks, employing V5 switches (rated to 2 A), V4 switches (rated to 12 A) and V3 switches (rated to 15 A). Switches rated for lower current operation are available with gold flash contacts for reliable switching at mA current levels. Many of the switches are available with different terminal options, for example faston, spade, right angled or solder tags. Most switches employ changeover contacts. If a cable harness is required, connection to the NO or NC terminals should be specified. Many joysticks can accommodate more than four switches. Some joysticks may be specified with eight switches. Furthermore, center detect switches and progressive switching are also possible.
