If more buttons are needed for extra functionality, then additional switches may be added. The image (top right) shows a handle with two push button switches. APEM’s finger tip joysticks may have up to two push buttons, while APEM’s larger joysticks can accommodate many more, as shown in the bottom image. Switch types, colors, and functions may also be specified. Where possible, other components may be fitted to a joystick handle, including LED indicators, thumbwheels, rockers and hat switches.
