Product List
An electrical isolation gap exists between the infrared LED D1 and the phototransistor Q1. When an input current is applied to D1 the infrared light produced is received by the phototransistor Q1. Photon induced charges in the base of the phototransistor raise the base potential and turn Q1 on.
