The final common error is specifying an enclosure without thinking about how it may need to be modified. Most NEMA enclosures need to have some sort of modification to allow for input and output. Some enclosure types are easier to modify than others. For example, if the end use requires a special color, steel or die cast aluminum would be the logical choices.
