Ferrite beads are a low-cost and effective solution to EMI problems from a low KHz range to a few hundred MHz range. Bourns offers bead sizes from 0402 to 1812 with an impedance range from 5Ω to 2.2kΩ. The standard series has a rated current up to 900mA, but a high current series up to 5A is also offered. The high speed series is ideal for signal lines that process data rates faster than 1 Mbps. The array 4-filter lines series is available in an 0603 package.
