All power cords and cord sets have a temperature rating which defines the maximum temperature that the insulating material can be used in continuous operation without degradation of its fundamental properties. Most commonly, power cords and cord sets are rated at 60°C (140°F) although ASSMANN WSW offers many power cords with a 105°C (221°F) temperature rating for more heat-intensive applications. All of Assmann’s production facilities are UL certified and all of their power cords are UL, CSA, and RoHS compliant.
