These plots have a format identical to the plots on the previous slide. The difference is that D is now 10 (instead of 3) with P equals 11 for the left pair and 15 for the right pair. The output spectra once again reveal that the change from P equals 11 to 15 has little impact on the spur magnitude. The maximum spur magnitude in both spectral plots is approximately –80dB relative to the fundamental. Granted, the spectrum for P equals 15 shows approximately 3dB improvement in maximum spur magnitude relative to P equals 11 but fairly trivial considering the factor of 16 increase in the size of the map from 2 to the 11 samples to 2 to the 15 samples. However, the spectra clearly show the drastic improvement in spur magnitude relative to the previous slide, specifically from -25dB to -80dB. The difference is the choice of D: 3 bits in the previous slide versus 10 bits in this slide.
