HARTING MICA Platform | DigiKey Daily

The HARTING Modular Industrial Computing Architecture, or MICA, is a compact computing platform designed for the harsh environments of the industrial IoT. MICA hardware is based on function-based PCBs, including a processor board, supply board, and a configurable custom function-based board for interfacing to sensors, actuators, antennas, and other hardware. This allows the MICA to interface with modern or legacy equipment to gather, process, and manage data. MICA software is based on containerized applications that allows for rapid development, and the ability to run multiple applications in parallel that are isolated from each other. MICA’s flexibility makes it well-suited to industrial monitoring, smart buildings, and transportation applications.
