Amphenol ICC Rugged USB 3 Type A | DigiKey Daily

Amphenol’s MUSBR series of rugged USB 3.0 type A connectors provide a standard USB connection in harsh environments, eliminating the need for special connectors and adapters. The connectors meet military shock and vibration requirements and are IP68 rated, even when unmated. Connectors are available in either single or dual stacked configurations, with vertical or right angle mounting. Assembly with the MUSBR series is epoxy-free, as sealing is achieved with o-rings and gaskets, including a conductive silicone panel gasket for improved EMI robustness. The connectors support data rates up to 5 Gbps and are ideal for use in medical equipment, microwave transmitters, military vehicles, radios, and computers, and other applications in harsh environments.
