The Pseudo SRAM or pSRAM provides lower power and is available in lower densities, typically 256Mb and below. pSRAM has two offerings, one with Address Data Parallel or ADP or Address Data Multiplex or ADM. ADM has less pins and is more popular. pSRAM has a built-in refresh circuitry, so designers do not need to refresh the data. All SDRAMs discussed in the earlier pages require an SW command routine to refresh the data and maintain reliable data storage.
