A feature of the stand-alone chillers as well as other models is the dependence of pump capacity of pressure depending on flow rate. As flow rate increases, the available pump height/pressure decreases. Taken together, both the cooling capacity and pump capacity must be matched to the application when selecting the appropriate recirculating chiller. Many models include easy to use control panels that report alarms and chiller status. These controls and status can also be accessed remotely using the standard RS-485 and/or RS-232 serial communications.
