Table 2, shown here, provides the equation to determine the efficiency for “low voltage” models, a subset of standard external adapters. “Low voltage” models are defined as an external adapter with a nameplate output voltage of less than 6 volts and a nameplate output current greater than or equal to 550 mA. Again, the nameplate output power, Pno, is the variable.
