Vishay offers a complete and competitive portfolio for PV micro inverters (two stage topology or DC link topology). The polyester MKT1820, with a range up to 47 µF, is recommended as input capacitor, to reduce the ripple current. As a DC link capacitor, for smoothing and energy storage, Vishay offers the slim line MKP1848S with a building height of 12 to 24 mm and capacitance up to 100 µF. For standard EMI filter products Vishay recommends the “X2” 339-series (for connections between the lines) and the “Y2” 338 6-series (for connections between line and ground).
