The MIL-COTS BCM enables full power, half-size, half-weight  aerospace and defense applications. The MIL-COTS BCM modules have 270 V input  and 45 V or 33 V output and meet the requirements of MIL-STD-704. The module is smaller and lighter than competitive products, providing more than 900 W per cubic inch with greater than 96% efficiency. These modules are equivalent to a 1/16 brick footprint and weigh 0.5 ounces. Designs using the MIL-COTS VI Chip bus converters have potential for a 60% smaller footprint, 3% higher efficiency and a 4x better power to weight ratio than traditional solutions. When utilized with downstream PRMs and VTMs, the BCM enables complete powertrain systems which are small, efficient and lightweight, and achieve the right power to drive the end application.
