Tripp Lite has upgraded its 8 kVA and 10 kVA models to include an improved output power factor. The part numbers and prices remain the same, however, the UPSs now provide more output wattage capacity to power more devices. For example, 10 kVA models that used to supply 8,000 watts (a 0.8 output power factor), now supply 9,000 watts (a 0.9 output power factor). Output power factors are the ratio between actual and apparent output and are determined by dividing the wattage by the VA.
