In summary Tripp Lite SmartOnline Single-Phase UPS systems offer a wide range of capacities to reliably support networks as they grow. All models provide true on-line, double-conversion operation with zero transfer time to battery. Tripp Lite also offers a complete line of 3-Phase UPS Systems with configurations up to 160 kVA. The compact, all-in-one UPSs (with power module, battery module and hot-swap PDU module) pack up to 6 kVA into a single chassis as small as four rack units. The Tripp Lite UPSs (either 5 kVA or 6 kVA) feature a 0.9 output power factor to power more devices than competitive models. Tripp Lite SmartOnline Single-Phase UPS systems (5 kVA and above) feature an external manual bypass switch and a detachable input/output power distribution unit (PDU). When the switch is set to "bypass," the UPS module can be removed for maintenance while the detachable PDU module remains installed, continuing to power connected equipment as long as utility power is present. These unique availability features are in addition to an automatic internal bypass that ensures 100% availability of connected equipment by passing through utility power in the event of an internal fault or overload. One way a UPS system can help ensure continuous availability is to include redundant components within its chassis. This is known as "N+1" redundancy. Tripp Lite "N+1" Single-Phase UPS systems (available in 12, 16 and 20 kVA capacities) feature two UPS power modules for internal "N+1" redundancy. All Tripp Lite products are RoHS compliant, which means that they adhere to strict standards in the reduction of hazardous substances, including lead and mercury. Tripp Lite SmartOnline UPS systems feature a combination LCD/LED display which presents a wide variety of UPS operational modes and conditions. Tripp Lite provides four separate power management options using software or SNMP firmware.
