WEBENCH® design environments are unique and powerful software tools that deliver customized power, lighting, filtering, clocking, and sensing designs in seconds. These easy-to-use tools help users generate, optimize, and simulate designs that conform to their unique specifications. They allow the designer to make value-based tradeoffs at a design, system, and supply chain level before the design is committed to production. Designers can use WEBENCH to create customized power supplies or DC/DC converters for their circuits. This environment gives them end-to-end power supply designs and prototyping tools. WEBENCH tools enable the user to solve switching power supply design problems before they build a prototype. This alleviates the time and trouble associated with traditional power supply design methods. Included in the WEBENCH toolset there is a device selection tool. This tool helps the user find the most appropriate switching regulator or MOSFET controller for their power supply circuit.
