SIMPLE SWITCHER has devised an easy naming structure to help customers identify which module is appropriate for specific input and output conditions. The prefix “LMZ” indicates that this is a module product. The first digit shows the series number. Series one has precision enable and soft start and series two includes these features plus has the additional features of frequency synchronization and current sharing. The next two numbers indicate the input voltage, either: 5.5, 20, 36, or 42V. The final numbers represent the maximum output current, from 1 to 10A. The prefixes of H and EXT designate TI’s specialized modules that provide either a high output voltage from 5 to 24V for conversions to an intermediate bus rail, or an extended temperature range down to -55 degrees Celsius along with additional shock and vibration testing, perfect for rugged environments.
