Product List
An example calculation is shown here for a high speed analog to digital converter. Here the calculation uses the power consumed while converting an AC analog signal at the maximum rate of the converter. The device shown is the ADC12EU050 which yields an efficiency rating of 0.48 pJ per conversion. The “per conversion” part of the metric is a result of the effective number of bits at frequency or the real measure of the performance of the data converter. The limit is 2.5 pJ/conversion, which places this device well inside the limit specification.
