TI has been working to provide a low-cost, fan-less development board that delivers laptop-like performance and almost limitless expansion for the open source community. Support for the BeagleBoard is driven by an online community which is already growing as several people have already been experimenting with the board. Detailed information, communities and updates can be found at beagleboard.org. The BeagleBoard-xM features a full DM3730 with ARM Cortex-A8, OpenGL ES graphics, and a TMS320C64x+ DSP core.
