For simple motion systems, the designer may want to transition from one speed or position to another. However, complex motion systems require a series of motion sequences. InstaSPIN-MOTION allows one to build application motion sequences without constructing a complex finite state machine. The figure shown here displays the motion sequence for a washing machine. This supports: Conditional Transitions - Allows transition from one state to one of many states, External Interfacing Variables - Controls external actuators and reads in sensors, and Run-time Configurable - Can reconfigure the motion sequence without recompiling the project.
