A simulation of Pulse Width Modulation, PWM, dimming is shown on this slide. The waveform viewer shown allows zooming in by clicking and dragging the mouse on the graph. The control panel on the left allows the user to show/hide waveforms, or delete them. By clicking on the Add Waveforms tab, one can overlay additional waveforms from the same simulation or prior simulations. This method of dimming adjusts the effective duty cycle of the LED while running at the desired current, which allows dimming while keeping the color constant.
